Clean the hole with compressed air. It is important that the anchor hole is drilled to the required depth and that the hole walls are straight, parallel, and of uniform diameter. Use only a hammer drill and industrial-grade drill bits. Never use a drill bit that has been bent.
– For the removable 5k anchor connector #HG-1540CRA-3/4”, insert the device to a depth of 3.5 inches
-Installing the removable anchor connector: place your thumb in the anchor loop and your index and middle fingers around the trigger.
-Tighten the spring fully by pressing the trigger. With your other hand, pinch the two spoon-shaped fingers between your thumb and forefinger. Ensure the cleaning sleeve is not caught between the two spoon-shaped fingers.
-Insert the anchor fully into the hole, keeping it cocked (trigger pulled, spring tensioned). Pull the loop slightly to engage the anchor. The stop sleeve must always be partially inserted into the hole.
-The 5k removable anchor connector for concrete, the hole must be located at least 15.24 cm (6 in) from any edge or corner. ● If the hole is located 15 cm (6 in) from the edge, the substrate must be at least 30.48 cm thick x 30 cm wide (12 in x 12 in) ● If the hole is located 20 cm (8 in) from the edge, the substrate must be at least 25.4 cm thick x 41 cm wide (10 in x 16 in) ● If the hole is located 25 cm (10 in) from the edge, the substrate must be at least 20.32 cm thick x 51 cm wide (8 in x 20 in) ● If the hole is located 30 cm (12 in) from the edge, the substrate must be at least 12.7 cm (5 in) thick. For the 10k removable anchor connector for concrete, the hole must be located at least 25.4 cm (10 in) from any edge or corner. ● The substrate must measure at least 25.4 cm thick x 50.8 cm wide (10 in x 20 in)
