Daniel Thornton, the owner and lead trainer of Keltic Falcon, lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. For the past 20 years, he has worked abroad from P.E.I, Alberta, Louisiana, California, Alaska, Trinidad, Brazil, Nigeria, and everywhere in between.
Daniel has completed rope access projects in refineries, hydro dams, smoke stacks, boilers, pulp mills, oil rigs, buildings, bridges, geotechnical and container ships along with involvement in countless rope access training courses. We’ve bundled all this experience into a first class training facility back where it all began in Nova Scotia.
Keltic Falcon is the only Rope Access Training Company with its lead trainer certified as an IRATA Assessor since 2005 and SPRAT Evaluator. Daniel is the only one in Canada with these dual certifications and is one of only five in North America.
With Daniel’s balance of backgrounds in industrial rope access, real world operations, and training it has given him an in depth knowledge of the system. Keltic Falcon has a firm grasp on what it takes to safely and successfully complete your rope access training and obtain your trade certification ticket.
